Churchyard Cottage: Churchyard Cottage is situated within Avebury Village and
100m from the ancient stone circle, a World Heritage
site. The cottage is a 200 year old rustic thatched
property with low beamed ceilings, some only 6 foot, and
cosy rooms. Downstairs there is a lounge with a wood
burning stove, dining room, kitchen, hall and bathroom.
Upstairs are four bedrooms. A pretty secluded garden with
patio and furniture is at the rear. There is a radio/CD
player, some board games but no TV. Pubs are within
walking distance. Well placed for visiting several other
ancient monuments including Stonehenge. Numerous country
walks.
